James D. Cheadle is the President and Chief Investment
Officer of Ponderosa Investment Group, LLC, located
in Portland Oregon.
Prior to founding Ponderosa Investment Group,
LLC in early 2006, Mr. Cheadle was a Vice President
and Senior Portfolio Manager for HighMark Capital
Management in Portland, Oregon. HighMark Capital
is the Investment Division of Union Bank of California.
In connection with his position, he managed approximately
$140,000,000 in assets for individuals and businesses
throughout the Northwest.
Prior to this, Mr. Cheadle was the Chief Investment
Officer for Copper Mountain Trust located in Portland,
Oregon. He held this position from February 2001
until 2003. In connection with this position he
oversaw in excess of $600,000,000 and managed
an investment department of staff. He held the
position of Senior Investment Consultant with
Copper Mountain Trust from April 1996 to February
2001.
Prior to the Senior Investment Consultant position,
he was a Consultant\Research Associate with a
focus on alternative investments with CTC Consulting,
Inc. in Portland Oregon.
Mr. Cheadle holds a Bachelors of Science in Business
Administration with a concentration in Finance
and Investments from Oregon State University.
